Personality Workshop

Today, I conducted a workshop on personality. It never ceases to amaze me how much we crave a better understanding of ourselves and others. I always gain such an appreciation for humanity when I introduce this material to new audiences. The audience was all female so I could have a little more fun when it comes to personality and gender (although I did remind them that I ‘pick’ on everyone equally, so no one, regardless of gender, is exempt from my comments).
There were serious moments and much laughter as we all acknowledged that personality is a big piece of self-understanding and being able to better understand others. I reminded them that personality doesn’t provide all the answers about interpersonal dynamics, but it goes a long way in providing a solid foundation upon which we built relationships.
It was a great way to invest a morning of my life.
